I usually avoid getting on to topics of religions and beliefs, but sometimes it just can't be helped.
You know, it amazes me how far some people will go to deface the theory of evolution. It's all a matter of opinion really, but really, some Creationists are just too damn idiotic about it. I accept the theory of Evolution, but it doesn't matter to me if you follow Creationism; to each their own I say. I won't go telling you it is wrong, so don't go telling me what I accept is wrong.
I'm only bringing this up because of a Facebook fanpage about evolution that I'm a fan of. It just amazed me that some people would become a fan of the page just so they can argue that evolution is wrong and the people who believe are devil worshiping heathens. I don't know if the Evolutionists from the page I'm a fan of joined the opposing fanpage to argue that Creationism is wrong; I honestly want nothing to do with it. I know I'm probably going to get a lot smack for posting this, but hey, I'm stating my amused surprise. Amused, because some of the hate that I read is just pure idiocy. I accept evolution because I find it to be sound logic; science has proven time and again that things evolve, for better or for worse. And before anyone asks; I'm Agnostic, formerly Protestant. Church really held no sway over me even back when I was Protestant.
Ending this before I get on true rant. Evolution, Creationism, its all a matter of belief and opinion, and I respect that. Just don't go shoving what you believe to be right down my throat.
